FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I arrange a placement?

Simply contact us by phone or email, and we will arrange a convenient time for a comprehensive placement discussion. During this process, we will assess whether Cloverdale House can meet the young person’s needs, arrange a pre-placement visit, and develop an initial care plan.

What ages do you accommodate?

Cloverdale House provides residential care for children and young people aged 8–17. We welcome young people of mixed gender and support those with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health conditions, and moderate learning disabilities.

How many young people live at Cloverdale House?

Cloverdale House accommodates a maximum of four young people. This small group living model enables us to provide highly individualised attention and create a genuine family-like atmosphere where each child’s needs are fully understood and met.

Are your staff trained and vetted?

Absolutely. All staff undergo enhanced DBS checks, identity verification, structured interviews, and comprehensive reference checks. Staff receive mandatory training in safeguarding, behaviour management, first aid, trauma-informed care, and CPI. They also work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

How can I make a complaint?

We have a clear and accessible Complaints Policy. Information about how to make a complaint is readily available within the home. You can also contact us directly by phone or email, or raise concerns with Ofsted on 0300 123 1231. We take all complaints seriously and respond promptly.
