Manilla Support Services — providing care and support across Northamptonshire
About

Manilla Support Services

Manilla Support Services is a Northamptonshire-based care provider which is committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, child-centred care that places young people at the heart of everything we do.

We operate two distinct services across Northamptonshire: Cloverdale House, a residential children’s home in Finedon for young people aged 8–17, and Gannett House, a supported accommodation service in Wellingborough for looked-after children and care leavers aged 16–17 preparing for independence. Both services share a common ethos of safety, nurture, and therapeutic support.

We work collaboratively with families, social workers, education providers, and external professionals to ensure every young person receives the coordinated, holistic support they need to thrive.

The 6 B’s Therapeutic Model

Our therapeutic model is built on six core principles that guide every aspect of our care. These principles create a framework for helping children heal, grow, and reach their full potential.

Caregiver providing a safe, reassuring environment for a young person

Be Safe

Creating an environment where children feel physically and emotionally secure. Safety is the foundation upon which all growth and healing is built, and we ensure every young person in our care feels protected at all times.

Young people and caregivers sharing a meal together, fostering belonging

Belong

Fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance within our home and community. Every child deserves to feel they are a valued member of a caring group, where their identity and background are celebrated and respected.

Caregiver and teenager building a trusting, meaningful bond

Bond

Building positive, trusting relationships with staff and peers. We recognise that healthy attachments are vital for emotional development, and we actively support children in forming meaningful connections with others.

Teenager developing skills and confidence with encouragement

Build

Developing skills, confidence, and resilience for the future. Through structured activities, education, and life skills development, we help children build the foundations they need for independent, fulfilling lives.

Confident young person with self-belief and aspiration for the future

Believe

Encouraging self-belief and aspiration in every young person. We help children recognise their own strengths and potential, fostering a positive self-image and the confidence to pursue their dreams and ambitions.

Young people and caregivers celebrating achievements together

Be All We Can Be

Empowering children and staff alike to achieve their full potential. We are committed to continuous growth and development, ensuring that everyone in our home is supported to be the very best version of themselves.
