A large, comfortable living room equipped with a TV, gaming consoles, and audio equipment. This is the heart of the home where young people relax, socialise, and enjoy leisure time together.
Sensory Room
A dedicated sensory room providing a calming, therapeutic space where young people can regulate their emotions, relax, and engage in sensory-based activities tailored to their individual needs.
Meeting Room
A private meeting room for professional meetings, keywork sessions, family visits, and multi-agency discussions. This space ensures confidentiality and a quiet environment for important conversations.
Manager’s Office
The Registered Manager’s office is located on the ground floor, providing an accessible and professional space for administrative work, staff supervision, and confidential discussions.
Games Room
A dedicated games room offering a variety of recreational activities including pool, table tennis, and board games. This space encourages social interaction, skill development, and fun.
Kitchen & Dining Area

Four individually decorated bedrooms for the young people, each providing a personal sanctuary. One bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom, offering additional privacy. Each room is equipped with a bed, bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, and chair — allowing young people to personalise their space and feel truly at home.
Staff Bedroom
A dedicated staff bedroom ensures that waking night staff have a designated space during their shift, maintaining the safety and supervision of the home throughout the night while respecting the privacy of the young people.
Communal Bathroom
A well-maintained communal bathroom equipped with modern facilities, ensuring the comfort and dignity of all residents. Bathroom routines are structured to respect each young person’s privacy and personal needs.

Quality Assurance
Cloverdale House is independently inspected and regulated to ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding for every young person.
Regulation 44 Visits
A Regulation 44 Inspector, otherwise known as an Independent Visitor, is required to visit and inspect the home a minimum of once per month to assess the safeguarding arrangements and quality of care provided.
Our independent visitor, Mariama Phantey, attends the home once a month and meets with management. She also speaks with young people on her visits to ensure they are happy and have a voice.
Ofsted Inspections
Ofsted are responsible for inspecting Cloverdale House and are the governing body that make sure all homes are providing good care to all the children living there.
Ofsted will usually visit once a year and will give feedback in the form of a report. They will visit the home, arriving in the morning and will spend the whole day with you and the staff to learn what it is like to live at Cloverdale House.
